Senior Account Manager

Megaphone is looking for a Senior Account Manager to work at our fast-paced podcast technology and ad services company. This job will report to the Head of Business Development and will be located in Reston, VA or New York, NY.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with our strategic clients and a deep understanding of their business to identify service needs and drive revenue growth.
  • Build relationships with potential new accounts and cultivate retention and business expansion opportunities with current clients.
  • Develop expert knowledge of Megaphone products and services and ensure they consistently meets or exceeds client needs.
  • Visit client locations to ensure client satisfaction and promote ongoing contract renewal.
  • Provide sales quotations and respond to requests for proposals.
  • Single point of client contact to coordinate resolution of service incidents, escalation of technical issues and business matters.
  • Make recommendations for changes to products or services based on customer feedback and requests.
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, product and customer support to deliver best in class service to our clients and identify opportunities for expanded customer support.

Requirements and attributes of the ideal candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 7 + years related work experience
  • 3 + years account management experience supporting enterprise software customers
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Excellent organization and time management skills in a fast pace environment
  • Highly self-motivated and proactive
  • High technical aptitude and growth mindset
  • Track record of active problem solving
  • Proficient in Salesforce
  • Travel up to 25%
